my incredible world of Enameling!
I
am drawn to enameling because it is like no other media. With it's depth
of colour and textures, coupled with the simplicity of line, it makes
each enameled work of art so intriguing and unique. I compare it to gemstones,
where the reflection and movement plays within the piece. Unfortunately,
as sensational as photographs can be, they cannot accurately reproduce
the actual beauty and personality of the piece.
The inspiration
for the designs of my work comes from God's creations in nature. Toting
my digital camera, I photograph insects, flowers and other scenes in nature.
From these photographs I create these intricate designs.
